From quality preloved furniture and clothing to electricals, homewares, children’s toys & books we accept a broad range of donations to sell through our retail stores. Please see the accepted list of donations here.

In store

The easiest way to donate your smaller preloved items is by taking them along to your local Changing Lives store. Store contact details.

Collection

If you have furniture items you would like to donate, the charities policy is all items must be photographed and emailed to charlotte@changinglives.org.uk If we feel we are able to sell via our stores or online services we can arrange a collection.

Our collection slots are 1/2 hour and within this time we can typically collect 4-6 large furniture items.

Before you donate

• Please check that your preloved items are in great condition; and

• Have the correct fire safety labels if upholstered

What happens to your donations

Our volunteers sort, price and some are upcycled before displaying in our network of shops and online services.

Gift Aid

If you can, please Gift Aid your donated items as this enables us raise an extra 25% from the sale of those items.
