Bath Abbey is an active Christian church situated at the heart of the city. Founded in 1499, it stands on the site of an earlier Norman Cathedral and the original Abbey Church built in the 8th century.
More than simply an historic house and garden, this splendid medieval Palace has been the home of the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years.
Forde Abbey is a former medieval monastery with beautiful gardens perfect for gardeners, family outings, group visits or weddings.
