Renewal
We aspire to encourage all believers to respond to God's call to mission and ministry in His world and Church. We believe God equips us for this service by the power and gifts of His Holy Spirit in our lives. The renewal group works with churches, groups and individuals helping them to be renewed and refreshed by this presence of God, through Christ.
Our work
We offer biblical teaching on the reality of renewal for today. The Scriptures reveal God's promise of a new life, new heart, new mind, new spirit, new ministry and renewed strength. We seek to explore the dynamic relationship between mission and renewal, as well as the place of prophecy in the life of the local church and our diocese. We are working to create a support network for churches and individuals concerned with God's renewing presence in our lives.
Teaching and training
Teaching, training and preaching are an important part of the renewal group's work. Across the diocese we have run courses exploring the biblical evidence for healing and how healing covers every area of our lives, mind body and spirit. We have been invited to Men's Breakfasts to speak on the topic of fatherhood. We are also involved with leading parish retreats, away weekends and practical workshops.
