Organ Recital. Internationally renowned organist, David Goode, will be giving a recital on Saturday 18th February at 7 p.m. in St Peter and St Paul's Parish Church, Shepton Mallet.
David has a busy and varied concert career having performed worldwide, on BBC Radio 3 and at The Proms. David has also been Organist and Head of Keyboard at Eton College.
Tickets are £10 on the door, or available in advance from the Parish Office (admin@peterpaul.co.uk). Concessions available.

Somerset Chamber Choir: Out of the East. Join Somerset Chamber Choir on this journey East exploring a delectable selection of inspiring sacred choral works from Russia and the Baltic countries, interspersed with piano pieces played by dazzling pianist Anita D'Attellis.
The fascinating journey will feature choral music by well-known composers from the region, such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov (including movements from the Vespers) as well as discovering the works of more recent composers and piano works by Chopin and more.

Quiet Day led by Euan Tait. The 2012 Quiet Days, led by Euan Tait, are on the theme ‘Getting to know Jesus’. Following a gentle rhythm of prayer, teaching and silence, the aim will be to go deeply into the words of Jesus, to live with them in prayer and quiet, to look at the way we respond and thus seek to deepen our relationship with Him. There will also be time to enjoy Ammerdown’s lovely surroundings, and reconnect with the beauty of God’s creation. Cost £35
